At Landulph School we have recently formed a school council which has a meeting every term. Our schools councillors are;

Minutes of School Council Meeting 14th April 2008
Present: Mrs B Worth, Mrs K Bonner, Cerys Strang, Bradley Sweet, Sophie Congdon, Alex Easson, Georgina Marson, Abigail Walsh, Jonny Willcocks, Zoe Congdon, Olivia Wyman and Callum Aird
The meeting opened with Mrs Worth and Mrs Bonner congratulating the School Council Members for their hard work and fantastic team effort to achieve the prestigious Bronze Award on behalf of the school. The certificate will be sent to us in due course.
Mrs Worth and Mrs Bonner have asked the two Representatives from Years 5 and 6 to make a Power Point presentation for the evening of the 13th May 2008 for the School Governors, this would include aims and goals, achievements and projected intentions to improve and help LANDULPH SCHOOL. All school Councillors will be invited along with their parents.
Some questions that were put to the members for other pupils to have their say and ideas was - How to make our school safer? and How can we make our school smart? We had many suggestions delivered at the meeting.
It was agreed that a letter would be sent to the Committee Member’s Parents, asking for permission for their child to attend the school on the 13th May for the Power Point Presentation and for the parents to accompany.
We also decided that next term our goal would be to aim for a Silver award.
There was no further business, the meeting closed.
The next meeting will be held on April 28th and May 13th 2008.
